1D STITCHING / 2D STITCHING
With many millions of pixels, our image sensor chips can be large. Potentially, even larger than the maximum size a lithography system can print. That means that our sensors need multiple lithographic exposures to create a single chip. By breaking down the sensor design into smaller blocks, we can create sensors by printing multiple copies of these blocks. Our 1D/2D stitching technology makes sure that all these blocks match up accurately, allowing large area sensors to be made with high yields and performance.
